Liz has lived in Wigston for 35 years. She has two grown up sons and looks after a severely disabled person who has lived with her for 34 years. She has fostered 88 children over the years and also served as a Governor at Glenmere Community School, and ran a voluntary project at Menphys.
Liz was elected in a by-election on the 17th February 2022.
Liz said, “Wigston is my home. I love living here and want to make a positive difference to local residents and businesses.
I'm very grateful to everyone who voted and put their trust and faith in me to represent them. I will work around the clock to ensure your voice is heard in the Council and not ignored. I look forward to working with residents, businesses and the Council to deliver a cleaner, greener and safer Wigston for all."
