Members of the Oadby & Wigston Conservative Team, led by Sir Edward Garnier QC MP, have been conducting resident surveys in Oadby.
The surveys, which take approximately 2/3 minutes to complete, are a way for local residents to outline the issues that matter to them most.
Cllr Bhupen Dave, Leader of the Conservative Group on the O&W Council said:
"These surveys are an excellent way for us to find out what issues and concerns residents have, to see how we as the opposition group on the Council, can effectively hold the authority to account.
Most of the residents I have spoken to, are pleased to see our hardworking team is taking the time to understand what the most important issues are, so we can do our best to take these concerns forward and resolve them.
We are grateful to Sir Edward Garnier for joining us also. Sir Edward has represented this area for nearly 25 years at Westminster, and it was great to have him with us as we knocked on doors and collected surveys. We were also joined on the day by our friends in Leicester City, whose support was invaluable on the day to ensure we covered as much ground as possible.
Myself and the team will be continuing to do these surveys across Oadby & Wigston in the coming weeks and months, though I would encourage anyone wanting to raise any issues, to contact us using the details available through the 'contact' section of the website"
